In this series, Pastor Bohr will pursue some very controversial subjects, which for genuine Christians need not be controversial. Some of the topics to be dealt will are these:
- What is the basis for upholding high Christian standards?
- Is it alright to lie depending on the circumstances?
- Is it wrong to wear jewelry?
- Is money the root of all evil?
- What is the relationship between principles and standards?
- Is all music proper as long as the lyrics are religious?
- What is worldliness?
- What's wrong with going to the movies?
- Isn't all the emphasis on standards a matter of legalism?
i have been studying the class notes from Secrets Unsealed and i find the answers to questions i never knew i had. its drawing me closer to seeing the big picture of how everything in the bible is interconnected. its a single system of one thought, that tells me what love is. and the reason i struggle with sin, is because i have not been transformed by love as i ought to be. so i must walk by faith, as my savior guides me. i must spend time with him so i can be transformed, and that only comes from reading my bible and prayer. that's what i'm learning, and these lessons have helped me tremendously to see these truths.
