This series emphasizes the importance of preparing and being ready for the close of probation, which will come upon the whole world before the tribulation and the second coming of Jesus.
Many Christians are oblivious to this vital truth, but Pastor Bohr discusses the story of the flood, the outline that Jesus gave His disciples in Matthew 24, the three angels' messages, and the King of the North attacking Michael and His people, as models which illustrate the sequence of end time events.
These are compared to Revelation 22:10-12, which says: "Do not seal the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand. He that does wrong, let him continue to do so.... He that is holy, let him continue to be holy. I am coming soon and My reward is with Me, which I will give to everyone according to what they have done".
There is a special message to be proclaimed from the books of Daniel and Revelation, which will prepare God's people to be found holy and to be sealed and stand during that tribulation "such as has never been" which is soon coming upon the world.
Pastor Bohr challenges all to remain wide awake and not to be caught up in worldly interests at the neglect of their souls. He warns Christians not to become entangled in any popular false prophecy which shifts the main messages of Revelation to a time after Christians have supposedly been caught up to God in a "secret rapture", and which are supposedly meant only to warn and counsel those people who find themselves "left behind" afterward.
We are to be prepared at every moment for the close of probation, either because of death or because we do not know the hour when Jesus will finish His priestly mediatorial work in the heavenly sanctuary. Then every person's destiny will be sealed forever and many will find it too late to obtain mercy when the "door of the ark" is shut and they wake up and find themselves left out in the "rain" without the necessary preparation.
