Not Conformed But Transformed
"The adversary of souls directs his temptations to the enfeebling and degrading of the physical powers. His success here often means the surrender of the whole being to evil" (2MCP 406). The mind is "the only medium through which heaven can communicate with man" (MLT 148). Is taking care of our bodies and minds a form of true worship? Not only are worship styles being changed in many churches, but new attitudes towards diet, alcohol, caffeine, sexual standards, and worldly entertainments are tending to the benumbing of our reason and are polluting our offerings of living, sacrificial worship to God. We are too often being conformed to the world instead of being transformed by the renewing of our minds.
In this life-changing message, based on Romans 12:1-2, Pastor Bohr shares the steps needed to overcome body and mind-destroying habits and to become totally changed. We are to metamorphize into a new creature in Christ like a caterpillar turns into a butterfly.
