In this series, Pastor Bohr shares practical tips on how to successfully witness and win souls for Christ's kingdom as Jesus instructed us to do in His Great Commission.

This subject is of top priority because: "Every true disciple is born into the kingdom of God as a missionary". "The work of God in this earth can never be finished until the men and women comprising our church membership rally to the work and unite their efforts with those of ministers and church officers" (ChS 9,68).

When we catch a clear vision of the boundlessly amazing love of God and that He would have died for us even if only one soul ever responded to Him, we will be ashamed of our meager attention and efforts given toward winning souls and of our lack of loving our neighbor as ourselves. We will be convicted that: "One soul is of more value to heaven than a whole world of property, houses, lands and money. For the conversion of one soul, we should tax our resources to the utmost" (6T 21,22). We must learn to see true potential in every person. In order for us all to feel this need and to be prepared to witness, Pastor Bohr examines the calling of Isaiah and what he needed in his life that would qualify him to give his all to the cause of God.

Pastor Bohr shares many easy-to-understand analogies from the process of parenthood that demonstrate how church members, as the bride of Christ, are to be healthy and nourishing spiritual "mothers" that "bear new children" and wisely raise, love, care for and teach these new members under our charge, as we encourage them in proper and truly successful church growth in gaining Christian maturity as sons and daughters of God. He shows how the Master is looking for us to produce for Him fine sparkling "jewels"- men and women desirous of growing in Christ and losing all sinful dross. "The accession of members who have not been renewed in heart and reformed in life is a source of weakness to the church. This fact is often ignored. Some ministers and churches are so desirous of securing an increase of numbers that they do not bear faithful testimony against unchristian habits and practices. Those who accept the truth are not taught that they cannot safely be worldlings in conduct while they are Christians in name." (5T 172). He also brings out fascinating insights into Christ's "fishing" parables that taught His disciples what it means for the church to gather in souls by the gospel net. "If they (the disciples) labored in connection with Him,--His divine power combining with their human effort,--they could not fail of success" (DA 811). This series will encourage you to claim that same success the disciples had.

You will gain courage, as Pastor Bohr also talks about the stories of David, the woman at the well, and the healed demoniacs, that no matter what your life may have been, or how little experience you may think you have in spiritual things, God can use you successfully in His service.
